I am so thankful that my child has such a wonderful imagination. He reminds me of the little boy in Toy Story, who comes up with these amazing, and intricate stories to play out with his toys. Tman is always inventing new games. This one is a newer one, but a real favorite any time we get the chance to hang out in his playroom.
We pretend there is a bear and we need to get in the car to get away from it. Obviously mommy can't fit in the Cozy Coupe, so he drives and I pretend to get in the back seat. One of my favorite details of this game is how he always remembers to "buckle" me in, which is just him making a clicking sound and pretending to fasten a chest clip on me like on his carseat. My job then is to hold on to the back of the car and provide some acceleration assistance as we try to get away from the bear. Then, when he gets to the other side of the room, he'll get out and unbuckle me and tell me to "walk like this" and we will then run to get away from the bear. Sometimes he will pretend to stop at his tool bench, which doubles as a restaurant, and order a "sammich and chips" and then get back in the car. I don't know why he does that, we rarely go to drive-throughs. It's hilarious. I love this game even more when daddy plays the part of the bear. Best.game.ever.
