Finally got out in the snow again! It has been so cold we haven't been able to enjoy winter at all. I don't mind the snow so much if we can do some of those fun winter activities, but it has been so wicked cold that we've been housebound. I'm sure we're not the only ones going a little stir crazy.
This past weekend we were able to get out and play in our yard for a bit because it was a balmy 32 degrees or so. Me, I was breaking a sweat! We were sledding in our yard because we have a big hill. It sure is fun going down, but when your 30+ lb 2-year old can't walk himself back up the hill, it gets old fast. So I lugged him back up the hill a good 10+ times on the sled, which took way longer because he kept purposefully rolling off the sled, which he thought was hilarious.
He also took any chance he got to eat the snow, he did. Literally, put his face down in the snow and ate it. That's why he has snow all over his hat and his snowsuit.
He sure does look cute in his one-piece snowsuit, looks like that kid from A Christmas Story. But the hat is my favorite. It was my husband's hat from his high school hockey days and it is adorable on him! He loves it because it was Daddy's.
